Se siete a Funchal una tappa in questo locale è d'obbligo! Attenzione è sempre molto frequentato, la sera c'è musica dal vivo con artisti davvero bravi ma il pezzo forte sono i cocktail preparati davvero in modo ottimale con prezzi al di sotto della media. Hanno anche piatti un apericena di tutto rispetto. Consigliato, mettetelo tra le vostre mete durante il soggiorno! ~ Alessandro T

We've watched Banana's Pub grow over several years and it's definitely the best bar in Funchal Old Town for the whole family, though service could be a little quicker but it's just become so popular. Teenagers love access to the fast and free wifi or live football on tv inside the cosy and well decorated interior. There's, a great snack bar menu and we recommend the Lapas and Pecados (beef or chicken). To be honest, all snacks, burgers and salads are tasty and excellent value Great entertainment each evening too - which enhances a great atmosphere. We miss the old staff as were super fast and friendly but wish them well. Marcos and his family plus his new staff team are all super friendly and welcoming and we look forward to returning very soon. ~ Jim B

No comimos allí, sólo tomamos algo algunas noches de nuestra estancia en Funchal, pero era el plan nocturno por excelencia. Los camareros son súper atentos y simpáticos, te saben aconsejar bien. Las ponchas están riquísimas y hay de muchos sabores. Los cócteles también están muy bien y se agradece que haya opciones de cócteles sin alcohol. Lo echaremos de menos. ~ Maria S

I walked by and the place looked cozy so I was like, ok, let me have a glase of wine. As I was thirsty I switched my opinion for a glass of sangria. In the menu I saw musscles So..Im from Croatia and we make mussles very often and is one of the national dishes in my area, but THESE ONES, OMG, one of the best i tried in my life. A lot of butter, garlic, persil and hint of parmesan cheese (i think) I was blown away. I sat outside but then it started to rain so I moved indoors and the placy is very cosy. The waiter, the guy with tattooes is super super nice and professional. Im lucky to work on cruise ship so if I come back to Funchal I will definitely come again. Wir waren nach unserem ersten Besuch hier so überzeugt, dass wir ein zweites mal her gekommen sind. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältniss ist mehr als nur Top. Das Essen ist super lecker, günstig und wird schnell serviert. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist auch gemütlich und es läuft entspannte Musik im Hintergrund. Wir können es mit jedem empfehlen, der hier vorbei kommt, eine Pause einzulegen. ~ M. R

Sehr gemütliches Pub mit reicher Auswahl an guten Cocktails, wo auch das Essen schmeckt! Draussen gab es immer Live-Musik. Nicht ohne Grund ist es hier immer ziemlich voll. Ganz besonders muss man den Service hervorheben, der immer sehr freundlich und super schnell arbeitet, egal wie voll die Hütte ist. Da machen die Cocktails Freude und man zahlt gerne und guten Gewissens ein paar Euro Trinkgeld mehr als sonst. Danke euch für die schönen Stunden! ~ Thomas O

Wonderful little place in a great location! We stumbled across this place on one of our walks. It has great cocktails on the menu and they are fairly reasonable as well and are a great size! Also a small collection of Ponchas are on the menu and they are great! We haven’t tried the food yet but what we’ve seen on other guests’ plates looked great. We also noticed some vegan options on the menu which is always good for us to see. The service is quick and friendly. In the afternoons and evenings there are also street performers playing music just outside which gives it a great atmosphere but also great if you just want to chill and people-watch. ~ Andrzej M

Mit fünf Personen waren wir da. Es war sehr schön. Ich hatte dat Steak 300 g auf einer sehr heißen Stein Plattform und Kartoffelnot Salat. 24 Euronen waren sehr angenehm. Umrum waren zu meinen Besuch viele steunende Hunde und nebenan im Privaten Wohnhaus war eine Private Party.deshalb Ambiente nur drei P. ~ Jens M

Mega mega mega Begeisterung pur essen top Getränke super Auswahl auch an anti Alkohol am Abend wird ab 19:30 Uhr Musik gespielt das bringt den kleinen Platz in ein super Ambiente kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen wir sind hier oft für einen drink und gewesen Preise ortsüblichen ~ L K

Zachęciło nas Pe de cabr, czyli miks wina maderskiego z piwem i mlekiem kakaowym. To 0,5 l pysznego mlecznego napoju z dodatkiem alkoholu, choć wydaje się to być szalonym pomysłem. Bardzo dobra Nikita i steak bolo do caco, a także wiele innych drinków, które próbowaliśmy podczas naszego pobytu. POLECAM!!! ~ Joanna R

Sind das 8. Mal auf Madeira, jedesmal etliche Male im Banana's, eigentlich beinahe jeden Abend. Vorallem Dienstag und Donnerstag ist dir Livemusik sehr zu empfehlen. Beste Cocktails zu absolut fairen Preisen, die immer besetzten Tische sprechen für sich, Personal stets höflich und zuvorkommend! ~ Christine G

Una plaza es compartida por este local de comida y cervezas, y su continuas propuestas musicales, poniendo músicos casi todos los días. Buen sistema de sonido y cerveza económica. El precio de la comida es como todos los demás locales. Un excelente lugar para compartir en pareja y amigos. ~ Jean Q

Sehr günstig, leckeres Essen und die Snacks sind deutlich größer als erwartet. Extrem viel Auswahl was Cocktails angeht. Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Top Pub. Bedienung sehr freundlich und witzig. Sollte man schon zum frühen abend hin oder ganz spät, da es schnell komplett belegt ist. ~ Michelle G

Nous sommes allés au Banana’s pour notre dernier soir à Funchal et nous avons été ravis de notre visite. Les plats et boissons sont excellents et copieux. Les tarifs sont très bas ! Nous en avons eu pour 52€ pour 2 avec une bière, un cocktail, un Brisa, un bolo do caco, des patelles, un filet de sabre noir à la banane et un picadinho mixte médium. Pour couronner notre venue, un chanteur était présent ! Merci encore aux sérieux qui ont été adorables. N’hésitez plus, allez y ! 😋 ~ Ludivine R

Echte een relaxed tentje met zoveel rust en gezelligheid. Eten en drinken is top. Voor ieder wat wils. Drankkaart is lekker uitgebreid. Zanger of zangeres erbij en het is een echte topavond. Prijs incl. drank service is helemaal goed, niet opdringerig, maar relaxed. ~ Patrick v

Schon des Öfteren waren meine Frau und ich, wenn wir etwas in Funchal zu erledigen hatten, zu einem kurzen Zwischenstopp im Bananas eingekehrt. Da stimmt alles...halbwegs normale Preise, leckeres Essen, guter Service und angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir empfehlen es uneingeschränkt. ~ Norbert F

Voilà un endroit pour ce rafraîchir et déguster des cocktails et autres boissons, même manger si vous avez un petit creux ou une grosse faim. Mon lieu préféré pour le soir. Ambiance, musique live, sangria, biere, frites, salades. Tout est copieux. Si vous ne prenez pas les plats principaux cest quand même copieux et peu cher. Ils prennent leur temps une fois que vous etes servis. Et après tout....on est en vacances !!! ~ EliE K

Nos encantó el sitio. Fuimos un viernes por la noche a disfrutar del ambiente. La atención fue rápida y los camareros muy atentos y amables. Con música que suena incluso en las mesas de la terraza. Precio alto, pero las bebidas muy ricas y la localización estupenda. ~ Noela B

Toller Pub an einem gemütlichen Platz mit Plätzen in der Sonne. Leckere Snacks zu super Preisen und vor allem eine top Auswahl an Getränken. Ponchas und Sangria waren super, aber auch die Bierauswahl und die Möglichkeit, ein Bierbrett zum Verkosten zu wählen. ~ Lisa

We zijn hier meerdere avonden gekomen tijdens onze vakantie. Perfect voor een aperetief of een simpel traditioneel avondeten. De cocktails zijn super en zeer faire prijs. Bediening is super vriendelijk en om 19u30 is er altijd live muziek! ~ Ruud V

Eine Live Musik Kneipe mit erstklassiger Gastronomie findest du auf Madeira nicht überall. Das Ambiente in der Altstadt ist ebenfalls wunderschön, außen wie innen. Tipp: Schwertfisch mit Bananas, Cocktailkarte rsuf und runter. Danach tanzen. ~ Ralph B

Toujours au top depuis 5 ans que nous venons! Excellent rapport qualité prix, cocktails maison excellents, cuisine simple, plats copieux et très bons. Musicien en lives chaque soir, de tous horizons. Notre rendez vous du soir préféré ~ Céline A
